Yankees Win on Lucky Call

Mariners' Victor Robles Makes 'Absolutely Ridiculous' Decision

Bad Call Costs Mariners

The New York Yankees were gifted a win on Monday night after a controversial call by Mariners' outfielder Victor Robles.

With the Yankees leading 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Robles came to the plate with two outs and a runner on first.

Robles hit a ground ball to shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa, who fielded the ball and threw it to first baseman Ty France.

France appeared to have caught the ball, but the umpire ruled that he had dropped it, allowing Robles to reach base.

The call was widely criticized on social media, with many people calling it "absolutely ridiculous.

The Yankees went on to win the game in extra innings, 6-5.

The Mariners are now 3-6 on the season, while the Yankees are 9-0.
