Toronto city councillor Jaye Robinson has died at the age of 61. Robinson, who represented Ward 15 Don Valley West for 14 years, was known for her advocacy on transit and road safety issues. She was first elected to city council in 2010 and was re-elected three times.

Robinson was a four-term city councillor who played a leading role on transit and road safety. She was known as a tireless advocate for her constituents, and her death has been met with an outpouring of grief from colleagues and community members.
