ACCs Now Closed to Public
Animal Care Centers Close for Public Viewing; Continue to Provide Essential Services
Effective today, all Los Angeles County Animal Care Centers (ACCs) will be closed to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This decision was made in consultation with public health officials and is in line with the County's efforts to slow the spread of the virus. Despite the closure, the ACCs will continue to provide essential services to protect animal and public safety, including:
- Admitting stray animals
- Reuniting lost pets
- Providing emergency veterinary care
While the ACCs are closed to the public, residents can still access their services by calling the Communication Center at (562) 940-6898 or visiting the website at animalcare.lacounty.gov.
